About 40 square feet.
That’s it. One sunny section of your yard!

Cutting garden boxes are for local pick up only.

Pick-up available the Monday after Mother’s Day (Monday, May 11th). We are unable to accommodate early pick-ups.

⚠️ No guarantees – We provide the healthiest plants and the best info, but nature has its own plans. Pests, weather, and the occasional garden mystery are all part of the adventure. But don’t worry, we’re here to help if you need it!

Cutting Garden Collection – FAQs

Do deer eat these flowers?
Short answer: they’re not deer-resistant.
Longer answer: deer usually don’t bother most of the plants in this collection, but deer also don’t follow rules. If wildlife treats your yard like a salad bar, you may want fencing or deterrent spray. We love Liquid Fence.

Can I grow these in containers?
Yes! You can grow everything in raised beds, garden rows, or containers.
We include container spacing and tips right in your planting plan.

How much space do I need?
About an 8×5 area (roughly 40 square feet).

Some people plant it all together as one cutting garden.
Others tuck the flowers into existing beds or sprinkle them through their landscaping. There’s no wrong way, the goal is flowers.

When do I pick up?
Local pickup only. We will email you with pick-up instructions closer to the date. (May 11th)
No early pickups, frost is rude AND unpredictable and we want your plants and you to be happy.

When will I get blooms?
If you plant around mid-May, expect flowers starting around mid-July.

Once they start, they keep going right through fall frost (especially if you keep cutting them).

Do I need experience to grow these?
Nope. This collection is made for normal humans with no growing experience.

Are these annuals or perennials?
They’re annuals, but we’ll teach you how to save seeds if you want to grow again next year.

How long do they bloom?
Most varieties bloom continuously once they get going. The more you cut, the more they produce.

They’ll keep flowering until frost.

Can I mix these into my existing garden?
Absolutely. You don’t need a dedicated cutting garden unless you want one. These flowers play well with others.
