Instead of weekly U-Pick hours, we're creating pop-up U-Picks, private workshops, and one-of-a-kind floral experiences throughout the season. Each event is unique, so be sure to join our email list and check our calendar so you don't miss the next one!

Our U-Pick is located on our family farm and is only open to the public during scheduled events. Please remember that we are a privately owned business, not a public park, and we welcome all paying guests during our posted dates and times.

Our Farm is located at 315 Forshey Road, Marietta, Ohio 45750

We recommend following these directions:

  1. Turn onto Browns Road off of Route 7 (DO NOT turn on Forshey Rd.)

  2. Go 0.1 (500 ft) until you see the first driveway on the right and our farm sign.

  3. Turn right there. The driveway is gravel.

  4. Come up the drive to the gray and white buildings and look for parking signs on your left.

ONCE YOU GET HOME

  • We do not recommend leaving your flowers in a hot car and try to keep them out of direct sunlight.

  • I am sure we have all smelled the terribly smelly old flower water. Just rinsing it out before the next use is not good enough. The most important thing to keep your flowers fresh is starting with a clean vase or jar at home. Using hot soapy water or even a touch of bleach to clean it after each use is super important. Bacteria in the water clog the stems’ ability to take up water and will drastically reduce vase life.

  • Give the stems a fresh cut at a 45-degree angle before putting them in the clean vase(s) at home. This maximizes the surface area for water uptake.

  • Be sure there are no leaves below the water line in the vase. This will cause the water to build bacteria quickly.

  • We recommend every 2-3 days changing the water and giving the stems a fresh cut on the bottom.

  • Keeping the flowers away from direct sunlight will also extend their vase life.

Wildroot is one of my favorite places to visit. The flowers are incredible, the farm is beautiful, and every event is thoughtfully planned. It’s truly a gift to our community.
