Listen, I know how this goes. The tuber sale opens, your heart starts racing. You see the one you wanted and you start throwing things in your cart like someone else is coming for them. BUT BEFORE YOU BLACK OUT FROM DAHLIA EXCITEMENT…please read this. 😂

SHIPPING — AKA WHEN WILL MY TUBERS GET HERE?!

Mid of April, friends. MID. OF. APRIL.

Not February.
Not March.
Not because Ohio randomly gets one 72-degree day and we all lose our minds.

Tubers will begin shipping middle of April.

Shipping is calculated by weight, and we cannot combine orders. So before you hit checkout, take one last look at your cart and make sure you grabbed everything your dahlia-loving heart desires.

MY TUBER DOESN’T HAVE AN EYE!

Maybe not yet! Our tubers are stored at 41°F, which means some of those little eyeballs are still sound asleep when they arrive.

THIS IS NORMAL. We do not warm up our tubers before we ship. We however inspect our tubers multiple times before they leave the farm to make sure you’re receiving a healthy, viable tuber. Once they leave us, though, you’re officially the parent. Their success depends on how they’re stored, planted and cared for. Wildroot Flower Co. cannot be responsible for tubers that dry out, rot after planting, or are damaged due to storage, planting conditions, weather or customer care.

AND HERE’S THE SERIOUS PART.

All dahlia tuber sales are final. If there is a problem with the condition of your tubers when they arrive, you must contact us within 72 hours of delivery. So please don’t leave the box sitting in your garage for two weeks and then remember you bought dahlias. Open the box and check your babies.

We pack everything with a whole lot of care, but unfortunately we have yet to figure out how to control UPS, Mother Nature, or the weather in all 50 states. We’re working on it. Every order also includes a growing brochure with all the information you need to get those babies growing.

Small World is one of those tiny dahlias that earns its space in the field. The petite, creamy white pompon blooms are perfectly round and produced in abundance on long stems. It’s an incredibly useful cut flower—the small blooms are perfect for adding texture and filling little gaps in bouquets and arrangements. Cute, productive and just plain useful.

All tubers will ship in late March. We are not accepting early shipping requests at this time. We are not responsible for damage to tubers during shipping as weather conditions vary across the country.
